Re: high speed railways and strange flat bed cars

(...) the (...) encouter (...) ends (...) Exactly; rather than the wheelset turning the cars, the first car to enter a curve (or leave it) turns against the "stationary" second car, while the wheelset turns "half as fast", or to half the angle, (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: high speed railways and strange flat bed cars

(...) That is in fact the reason that they are separate. If they are on a common axle, the outer wheel tends to want to climb up and rub the flange against the inner side of the rail (remember, train wheels have a tapered profile, the diameter on (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: PWM and executing 2 function at the same time

thanz Duncan for your advice. but for question 1, what i mean was to count the number of pulses generated without any external device. what i am asking is to count the number of pulses internally. and for question 2, i mean is there any command to (...)   Re: Ninja Figs - Reverse Auction

Low bid so far is 25 including shipping by Mark Parker. Remember, I am not picky about WHICH figs these are, as long as they are ninja theme figs. (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: ldraw.org

(...) I'm just speaking for myself, but I think that this is because people would rather see a site now with content than an professional-looking one later that is easy to navigate. In other words, there are few reasons to give over the James (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: *Orange*Orange*Orange*

(...) It is a shame-- the orange bricks look sweeet in a lot of Lego color combos-- you should get some. I am actually a little less desperate because I found a stash of them and was able to complete my project. BTW I have a lot of slopes for sale (...)   SW at K-Mart

I haven't been shopping lately, but my remote spy network (ie, a guy I work with who has a Star Wars fan for a kid) reports there are a lot of Star Wars lego at the K-Mart on 28th Street and Lake Eastbrook Drive. Steve (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mi.grr)

RE: Starwars Microfigure Model Catalog up on my page.

I don't know what all the fuss is about...I heard that TLG is about to take Karim's designs and mold them as one piece specialty parts - sort of like Town Jr except for the more discerning Star Wars crowd... Karim, I've said it before, but the more (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lego Truck in Wellington

(...) That's a straightforward solution (and it's suggested in the holiday S@H catalog). But it allows the trailer to separate from the tractor too easily. (...) Oooo. That would be juniorization.   Re: toolchain

(...) Yes, I believe GNU configure is covered by GPL. I already changed legOS licensing to MPL because Kekoa's math routines are MPL. I'm not sure if we may continue to use them if we change yet again. What's the status on menuconfig? Are those (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: 1857(?) Brick boxes spotted

Re: TM's 6399 Airport Shuttle monorail auction (Update 5)

  Re: *Orange*Orange*Orange*

Err - I don't see why it's not right. If I say orange, I'll pronounce it 'orrinj'. If I say lozenge, I'll pronounce it 'lozzinj'. Looks like a rhyme to me - same vowel sounds, same emphasis on the 1st syllable, same final consonent. ????? And isn't (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
