  Re: Lego Truck in Wellington

(...) That's a straightforward solution (and it's suggested in the holiday S@H catalog). But it allows the trailer to separate from the tractor too easily. (...) Oooo. That would be juniorization. But it might be reasonably good juniorization, for (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: toolchain

(...) Yes, I believe GNU configure is covered by GPL. I already changed legOS licensing to MPL because Kekoa's math routines are MPL. I'm not sure if we may continue to use them if we change yet again. What's the status on menuconfig? Are those (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: 1857(?) Brick boxes spotted

Richard Dee wrote in message ... (...) I guess it goes without saying that the bigger the branch the more likely they are to stock Lego... the actual amount they have is pretty poor - a fair bit of Duplo and a few Res-Q sets, and these 1857s - and (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: TM's 6399 Airport Shuttle monorail auction (Update 5)

NOTE: a couple more pieces were found and are listed below. I have a 6399 Airport Shuttle for auction. This set is missing several pieces; however, it also includes extra track segments. The set is being auctioned without instructions and includes (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: *Orange*Orange*Orange*

Err - I don't see why it's not right. If I say orange, I'll pronounce it 'orrinj'. If I say lozenge, I'll pronounce it 'lozzinj'. Looks like a rhyme to me - same vowel sounds, same emphasis on the 1st syllable, same final consonent. ????? And isn't (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: ldraw.org

(...) It is a work in progress, but a couple things need to happen first. I still need to iron out kinks in the Lego Maniac's Webring site and make it public before starting work on the new ldraw.org site. Also, I want to take my time on this and (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Znap Hover-Sub 12.99 in Argos

  Re: toolchain

(...) What about a simplified gnu 'configure' ? Or would using that scheme mean incorperating the GNU license as well? :) Richard (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Mindstorms: Use of Far Mode on IR Transmitter

Far mode allows you to download or control RCX via suplemental software (NCQ). The IR range can be boosted a bit by reflecting off a white surface (ceilings or walls), I think Radio Shack has a remote control range booster. This should be able to (...)   Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

(...) Sorry to be pedantic, but I'm not sure I'd agree with this. You seem to be saying that whether it is profiteering or not depends on what you're using the money for. I'd say it depends more on whether the profits you're making are reasonable, (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
