Re: My newest creation, Hell Gate Bridge NY

(...) Love that bridge. It looks like the span carries the whole load. What I mean is that a lot of people use bricks under the track to stiffen the track, but your track is supported at six or maybe 8 points, and the rails and tiles do all the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) in the world. :-) It looks good - a more "European" feel than mine. I've managed to get enough beams to make a few of my bridges, but I don't know if I'll be able to have one ready in time for Christmas like I had hoped. I don't want to post (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Lego announcments

  Re: Space World

It will be mainly links, yes, but we will have a small amount of space for pictures of characters and such. Most likely, Jon Palmer and myself will run it, with Jon doing HTML and me doing graphics. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Actually...LegOz 2001.VIC.1 is on Saturday Jan 27 [not Thursday Jan 25], and is at Sue-Ann's place [location to be announced.] However, I have been asked if it would also be possible to have a LegOz 2000.VIC.3 on or around December 30 (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lego announcments

(...) Maybe. Maybe not. What the press release actually said was: "In 2001 the LEGO Shop at Home will be made available to consumers from Southern Europe and Asia/Pacific." I would be more confident if the press release had used the word (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Proof of concept MOC

The Acela coaches are exactly what inspired this. One of my co-workers was on the Acela design team at IDEO. He and I were pouring over the photos of the Acela just last night before I went home and built this. It was great, he was pointing out (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Cascades Mono Coupler Details Now Showing

Zellers has already reduced LOM prices!

These are not sale prices (although they are on sale), they just lowered the normal price.
