(...) alternating colors really helps make it look solid. Shoulder mounted guns are also a favorite of mine. This mech looks similar to the new shocktrooper, which is one of my all time favorite smaller mechs. It looks so mean with an evil (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Because the figure in the cockpit has a regular smiley, not the Emperor's head... it's visible enough to at least make that out. Lego could've made some smaller quarter spheres, in two different sizes with printing for the eyes and mouth, and laid those over the front of the Stormtrooper head... that would have given it a more "realistic look" while keeping the parts (...) (...) Tony, I've been using two or three (and on my new mech four) together to make hip and shoulder joints that can hold 6-7 pounds. I use the "clip" sockets and not the flat feet type ones. After running an IC thing on my board for about 10 minutes my handyboard decides to just freeze on me, I am spawning new processes, but I am ensuring I am killing these before I continue with my next round through the loop.
