How about using postcodes??? OK, so there are several of them to a county, but it might help... e.g. in Kent, we've got: ME for Medway; CA for Canterbury; TN for Tonbridge; DA for Dartford; BR for Bromley... OK, OK, it was just an idea - there would (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
