Re: New model (some input please)

Not bad at all, Jay. Is it to minifig scale? Do any of the hatches open up so that Chewie can yank out the imperials before commandeering the vehicle to aid the alliance? Even if it doesn't, it looks great! Do you plan on building any more of these (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Massive Website Makeover and Update

(...) If you want to get an idea of what LEGO has done in castle before, take some time and search the Lugnet/Pause Database for "Castle" it'll take a bit of time to load but should return all the different known sets... errrmmm actually for the (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Team USA 1999 Women's World Cup Soccer Champions

(...) I missed this when it was first posted. Very cool, nice work. I had no idea there were quite so many different types of sunglasses heads till you used several different kinds. Sometimes it just doesn't register... Also, how did you print your (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general, lugnet.sports)

  Re: Dopey ebay seller!

(...) In what way does this make the seller dopey? I have to agree with the other responders, the onus is on the buyer to make it easy for the seller to get the buyer's address right. (and conversely, the onus is on the seller to make the buyer's (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: NQC stdin & stdout

(...) That's my current plan. I tried the normal way and it lost the file name, the current dir, everything. It has become VERY frustrating... But I should have it soon. I'll be offering it free on our site. I'll post when it's done. Dean -- (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Connecting to RCX

(...) The RCX has, by ROM Firmware, 5 factory entered programs. In all 5 slots. The easy way to tell if there is firmware installed is when you turn it on you see 00.00| |= little man. I'm trying to restore my classic legoland castle, y'know, the original yellow one. Most of the pieces that I've found missing are minifig accessories. I need all of the following in light grey (Battle axes, jousting lances, broadswords, "coat of (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.castle)

Re: FW: PNLTC Presents a Guinness World Record LEGO Train Track Displ ay

I'll be departing for Seattle on Friday morning to help with this. Russell is making up some BayLUG and BayLTC logo stickers suitable for LEGO freight containers. I've doubled the length of my spine car...still two couplers, but now 14 axles, and (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

More Thoughts about Girls and Legos

Re: Experience with Tow Truck 8462?

(...) I must say I feel very tempted by that offer too. I never got an 8462 when they were widely avaliable, so I'm trying to get one now. However, as I live in Berkshire, Glasgow's a little out of the way :-) Mike (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Edmonton Train Show - Intermodal Station

As you saw from the photos John posted (URL) isn't very much room on the siding for the train cars, we could probably fit a couple of the yellow lowboys, to mix with the three original grey and the one black version. As mentioned previously, more of (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: NALUG domain

(...) If it's NALug.org, (the best, but onlikely since it's global) or NALug.ca.org or NALug.ab.ca or whatever, it would still need to be hosted somewhere.   Re: town models and rcx

(...) I'm thinking of building an RCX controlled theme park, with a swing boat, shooting gallery etc. I also might try a rollercoaster in technic, but it could be tricky. I probably won't reach all my aims, as I will probably run out of lego. Anyone (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.town)

This is confirmed. LSAH completed the order today and the kit should be to me in Los Angeles by Monday, August 21. Price is $169.99. Also, the Power Puller is on back-order and should ship next week. It's priced less than I originally thought at (...) (26 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)
