  cute story

A while ago, when the McDonald's promo sets were out, I happened to have an extra (back when i only had 1 of things and didn't want more *gasp*)... So I gave the extra to a coworker who had a couple of little boys... well months have passed and the (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: A question about BrikWars robots

(...) The mech I'm fielding tonight has a 32" movement (using torso power) and a 20" jump (using combined legs). The jump seems high, but 5" (using torso power), seems way too low. Using leg power for movement would be ridiculous. Would be 128". The (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Anyone know a good lizardman?

(...) Well... Tim Coats did an 'insect man' that didn't look too bad... (URL) tail though.. but it could pass for a lizardman... Perhaps you could add some Lego string for the tail :) [might look silly, though... I dunno] DaveE (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: gun1 project

Hmmm. Sounds like a great idea. I've tried making pressurized peashooters (actually, spitwad) with LEGO without much luck. I'll give that some thought. Thanks! Randy -- Randy Anchikoski randy@viclug.tzo.com "David A." (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Friday's Meet

(...) Maybe I could go over to your place and take some pics. :) (...) Actually I've never seen any 5571s in Canada. The two I got are from Hong Kong, so I had to pay close to $300CDN each AND carry them around. I got one in 1 year, and the other (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Will Lego Learn a lesson?

(...) No, not sure. I haven't seen the figures firsthand, but from what I've read in two articles (reviewing the park), and from an 'inside' source, it hasn't been doing as well as they'd wanted-- basically, it sounded like a flop from all accounts.
