On a flee market in the Netherlands I bought a huge model of a Lightouse. It was definitely no official LEGO model; my question is whether it was made by a hobbyist or by LEGO as a window display. It's a cylindrical structure, about 40 cm high, 20 (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Not to start a "mine's bigger than yours" war or anything but... I built a UP EMD DDA40X a while back (which was, I believe, the longest loco ever built at 98'5") which was 70 studs long and could take turns (but with no articulation). Sadly, it has (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

I have made a simple 25dpi monochrome scanner with my kit. Using NQC i have written a small program for the RCX that advances the scanner one line and reads aproximately 170 samples from the light-sensor while running it on a carriage over the (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

We have developed a library of functions so that one can write HB-style code and run it either on the HB or compile it with the library and run it on a PC.
