My first LEGO city used an RCX. Every time the train passed by a light sensor, the the police department radar would rotate back and forth and make some noise. However, I later disconnected this in favor of a more high-rise Police building: (URL) (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.town)

The old home-maker kitchen set had a steak and eggs 2x2 square. I might still have one somewhere. I had about 4 pizza restaurants in my previous city, because pizza is, as you point out, the most common food stuff. Here is a picture of my favorite (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.town)

I just read these better, so I'm replying in more detail... hope this doesn't bother anyone :) (...) Any suggestions as to what exactly I should add? I've never had problems of the type you describe, either with IRQ shortages or with serial port (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Thanks Mark! The cockpit entry isn't anything special, I don't know why you guys seem to like it so much. It just disappoints me that I work so hard to make my mecha seem original and use pieces in a new way... And people still just say things like (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

It gives me a good start for building my own Zaku, an idea I've been toying (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Wow. Jeez. That thing is, well, GOOD. I'll put it this way, I wouldn't want to run into that in a dark alley. The machine gun is what scares me. It looks so REAL. And the... the whole mecha is just !O¿O! I also like how you put the tubes (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I know this sounds silly but... We got ours on Wednesday and I think I like it better than RIS (which we've had for about a year now.) Yes, the RIS (RCX) is better, but we love to just throw together something and try it out. No programming etc. I (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

 | | Possible ATST woes
|

I was thinking about an ATST for only 10 bucks. That would mean it would only have around 100 pieces. The only way I can think of doing that is (and this really irks me to think about it) is to use the shifting sliding legs like those on the Robo (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
