  Re: Hopper cars

(...) Man have I missed out on a lot in the past couple years! (See (URL) for an explanation of sorts.) Larry - great work from what I can see, and good to read your posts - I especially liked (URL) Based on my past buys/auctions, I suspect you know (...)   Robots and the future of the human race

I saw this thing on TLC a minute ago about the future of the human race and how people will colonize planets. One way is to download human minds to a robot or microchip. I wonder if the transmitter is going to have "Lego" stamped on it, that sends (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.space)

Trade Black Cat Big Rig (loose) for UCS X-Wing?

Anyone? The subject line sez it all. This is the same Model Team set I have up for sale at my Brickbay store ((URL) on the "bricks@onedaycnn" link. It's loose, but in great condition, no decals, and VERY few piece substitutions--the most (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Golden Astronaut helmets? and Breastplates?

Hi Hakan, In answer to #2: I went searching through lugnet.cad.* and checked the parts tracker(1) but couldn't find the breastplate being worked on or finished. So give me a few days (or more) and I'll see what I can do. It looks like a fun part to (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

(...) for (...) carry (...) Now that I look at it, it does look like a Sandcrawler with the big door in front and the cockpit above the door and such. Hmmmm... Well thanks for the photo consideration. Great job on the contest. Bye. -Nick (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Detecting a laser-pointer dot with LEGO light sensor (was "Autonomous robots")

(...) out (...) Very clever approach! That's amazing how useful a piece of paper can be. :) I'll try that. My idea is to use a passive landmark, so I'll try to use a kind of cilindrical mirror so that both the laser pointer and the light sensor (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

I just got back from Target at Camberwell [Melbourne] and they had the new catalogue for this year :) It's 76 pages, with lego webpages to go with set/theme info, and lots of descriptions. I'll try and scan it tonight, and post the images. [WARNING: (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)
