(26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

(...) the (...) Well you will have half the hall for your trains....and there's some small stage boxes about 20-30cm high....and about 1 1/2 mtrs x 1 1/2 mtrs...so if ya can make any rail bridges or get the track to go over them....well they're (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: solaris + legOS

(...) You do have FASYNC on Solaris, it's in <sys/file.h>. But this won't help much, as it is only there for socket IO. The same problem is with F_SETOWN, it is only defined for sockets, therefore you get the EINVAL. (...) No, we won't get SIGIO (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: BIG update on Bardiel website

Have you read the Hyperion series of books by Dan Simmons? There are elements of your story in the series (ie the Church being a powerful force in the galaxy, the nature of man). There's also a lot more, too much to go into here. Anyway they are a (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: MF at etoys.com

(...) Some thoughts: I received everything I ordered (2 AAR, 2 CC, and 1 KLC). I have not seen any indication that they don't intend to honor their prices. My conclusion would then be that due to an inventory error in their system, people were able (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: BrikWars 1942!

(...) damned if you didn't beat me to it! I love the little bombed-out French town. The picture of the Allied private splattering huge amounts of gore with his hatchet attack got a big laugh from everybody here at the college library. - Mike. (26 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Has anyone ever tried to design a washing machine mechanism?

(...) I never hooked up a motor to it (mainly because the only motor I had at the time was in use in another model), so I don't know for sure, but IIRC it didn't involve much torque, once I tweaked the bushings to keep the gears meshed without (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

How much would you pay for a 9v parts?

What’s good price for a new 5225 9 volt motor? (URL) about 9 volt short wire? (URL) about black 9 volt battery box? (URL) W (26 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: MAC lcad programs?

(...) Currently, there is only one mac ldraw type app that I am aware of: LdGLite. Get it here: (URL) Niels Dueck has created a website for mac users to unite and show our outrage that there are no mac programmers interested in Legos. We have moved (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: another LEGO Mosaic

(...) Wow! It turned out very nicely. It makes me think that perhaps snapshots make better mosaics than portraits do. Or maybe I just have to pick different portraits. :) (...) Mine was a lot of fun to put together, too. Error diffusion definitely (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)
