  Continuation: HMS Queen

Phase II Construction; all turrets in situ, all decks but bow complete, and both funnels erected. I'm now reaching the point where I don't have enough room in the apartment to take a good picture of the darn thing. The polemast is only there as a (...)   Re: Dinosaur Color Scheme

(...) The Dino Island sets arrived in our stores, so I had a chance to look at the boxes. "The Dino Research Compound" has the stegosaurus displayed under the lid, and I can say, it looks *way* better than on the pictures. Actually, the Stego (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) about, (...) Don't worry Deidre, I got the gist of your post and didn't feel offended at all. (...) We as well have taken no offence, and I personally found this "war" funny and revitalizing for our local ng. (...) We accept your surrender, (...)   Re: Kids say the strangest things

(...) <snipped> I'm 28, about mid-range for lugnetters from what I've seen. I've been following the thread "when does it become embarrassing to buy lego" and when my little boy came out with that statement I completely lost it, laughed for ages, as (...)   Re: Planes for a new download-tool

(...) I didn't know that exclamation points (!) give an appearance of shouting, in my language (Portuguese) the "!" point, is used at everyones will, meaning only "exclamation", it's pretty standard here.   Hello to UK Lugnetters

Hello everyone, following Mark's example from a couple of weeks ago, I thought that it was really high time that I stopped lurking and stuck my head out to introduce myself. My main interests are Star Wars and more or less any of the space-themed (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Has anyone ever tried to design a washing machine mechanism?

(...) Duplo set 2983 includes a barrel that's about 6 studs in diameter by 9 or 10 high. You'd need to drill the bottom for the agitator axle, but I think that's only a "venial" sin among purists, compared to introducing a "foreign element" ;-) (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) and (...) Which, by the way, is fraud, technically. It's up to you of course whether it's a big enough fraud to not do it.   Re: rotation sensor problem (different one this time)

(...) All sensors stops responding? I think that you have lost, for some reasons, the ADC sampling IRQ... If you loose this one you have lost the kick to continue sampling... Some part of code inside legOS disable IRQs... I'm not enough expert in H8 (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Harris Scarfe 25% off Storewide Friday 28th with the usual exceptions. I do not know if this is national or just Tasmania. Pity they've sold off their older Lego stock here, just recent sets these days. Deidre drb@tasmail.com (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: LegOz 2000.5

Re: Has anyone ever tried to design a washing machine mechanism?

I am wondering if you couldn't use the robo-riders container as the basis for your drum. It has a hole for a technic axle in the lid, so, you could pass the agitator axle in through there. You may have to do something "non-lego" to power the drum, (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics)
