Jammed motors out of the box is a common problem with the geared Technic motors.. That's not limited to Znap sets at all. You cannot (as far as I know) copyright an assembly of Lego, but a photograph that you took can be considered yours by law. example: Ansel Addams took many photographs of nature/landscapes in the black and white poster format.
