  Re: Football sets!

(...) Actually, I think the brown flight helmets would look better. Kind of like the old leather helmets. (...) !!!!! I am shocked! I hope you are kidding, but if not... Surely you know that football is actually an evolutionary step up from soccer. (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

ANY WANY TO COMMUNICATE TRU AN FRO BY VB5??

  Re: Football sets!

(...) I would prefer a baseball stadium if they were going to start making sports sets. Some of the now-defunct LEGO themes (like Pirates) could be resurrected to represent the logos and mascots of MLB, or any other professional or college sports. (...)   Re: transforming mecha

(...) No, but it sounds like a good idea. I had an idea for a duck mecha that could walk, the fly and pull the wings in as the bottom of the boat. Then the "duck" would use a rocket to get in the air, transform, and land. Anyway, no I haven't seen (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

A General Question About Castle World

Perhaps this question will seem silly but after visiting Castle World a few times I was wondering about the reason Castle World exists. Don't get me wrong it's a great site but my question is whether it serves as a place to display Castle creations (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Am I the only one who likes Jar-Jar?

(...) Interesting application of JarJar...I have considered integrating them into my Castle/fantasy story as benign amphibians or Sorceror's lizard stooges...due primarily to the minifig head (...) I found JarJarannoying in my first few viewings of (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Possible bug with bss allocation

(...) The common section is aligned to 16 bytes by ld. This is unknown to the tools generating the final .lx files. The fix is to force the alignment of the .bss section to 2, with this ld will generate files that work with the current tools. I (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: transforming mecha

Ah the ever popular "gestalt" transformer. I've thought about it, but I haven't attempted in recent times. Perhaps I should.... hmmmm. Transforming Lego models are problematic in and of themselves simply because they tend to become rather fragile. (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Tired of click hinges - use technic pins with friction

Here's a little secret: Put a small, narrow strip of Saran Wrap around each end of the black friction pin. It'll work wonders for your mecha. You'll find that they can support much more weight this way. Enjoy. ~Mark (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Am I the only one who likes Jar-Jar?

(...) I think you've pretty much nailed down why people who like Threepio don't like Jar Jar. 1) Threepio didn't talk in that ridiculous voice. Prissy, yes, baby-talk, no. 2) Threepio was at times a valuable asset to the adventure. 3) Threepio never (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

I've tried this with Space figs, and they make darn fine aliens as well. Glad to see someone else thought of this. :^) ~Mark (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Website announcement and update

Hi Tony! I must say, you have some of the more creative things I've seen that seem to remain "on the edges" of Classic Space. Excellent Stuff! And I love the sense of humor with the repair droids. ;^) ~Mark (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Is the spacestation dead...?

Hi Rick, That modular station looks great. I just have one question: Your pods don't appear to have connecting hallways. Is that just the angle of the picture, or are you planning to rectify this? ~Mark (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)
