  Re: Island Hopper

(...) I'd say that in comparison to the Egyptian subtheme, it doesn't have as many good vehicles. Even the vehicles included in the med-big sets were good. Not a bad one in the bunch. Jon (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Mecha Legs

(...) them... (...) part legs. I been building a Rock Raider mech, and a scaled down version of those legs would work great. If you don't mind, I'd like to use a pair of legs like that. Keep up the good work! Rob (1) I've been on a vacation. (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.underground)

  GP2D12 on port 28, 29, 30

Hi, I am thinking about putting three GP2D12 sensors on port 28, 29, 30 (because I am not thinking about using Lego Sensor, and I really like other analogue ports with the 1K pull-up resistors). Has anyone done it? Or is it a bad idea to uses these (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Building the NMRA Layout

I got back from the Legoland Kidvention where I saw firsthand the GMLTC layout and am now looking at how much I still have to do and how little time in which to do it. The layout is far from complete. I will be leaving town for a sales trip that (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Windows 2000

Michael, I believe the reason that NT is faster in big machines is that it can address large amounts of memory more quickly. When I was discussing NT with a Photoshop expert, he said that for 128MB+ machines, it is much faster in NT, as Win9x can (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Funniest LEGO EBAY Item I've ever seen!!

(...) He is just joking indeed. All of his other auctions are the same. All his comments have "great seller with great sense of humor". He has no negative feedback. So I would say just take it as a joke because that is all it is. David (URL) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

  RE: Catalogues

Yep, they're of interest to me :) I'm currently halfway through my mid-sized catalogues in putting together a list of my collection, and I hope to be able to list it soon in the hope that someone out here has catalogues that I don't[1]. I know of a (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

(...) Let's see what else it leaves, bedsides the ones you put: the little thing with blue wheels(5309), the plane and car in the big set, the semi, car, and ship in the t-rex transport, and the research glider. You seem to have forgot quite a few. (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Soccer team bus with soccer ball --- TRU exclusive?

I've found a lot of cool stuff at my local TRUs lately (Star Wars bucket, the enormous Tie-Fighter and X-Wing models), but I'm most excited by the soccer team bus with that cute soccer ball promo! Does anyone know -- is this a TRU exclusive, or (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: The Green Machine has arrived

Ha!! Well no one ever said racing was a pretty sport. I was thinking of making a more challenging course with a few jumps to see if could land back on the track. It would be kind of a "Joey Chippwood" of the train circuit. I'm not sure I want to (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Mike, I love your yellow tankers as well. I think I will try your design first since it uses angled roof tiles for the sides of the tank instead of castle corner pieces.   Dinosaur Island vehicles

At $49.99, 5975 T-Rex Transport is a bit too expensive. Otherwise it is a cool vehicle set that keeps the tradition of the Adventurers theme. I like the tractor-trailer. The color scheme of its triceratops looks a lot nicer, too. 5935 Island Hopper (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
