  Re: RTC

(...) Yes. The IR just becomes a dumb serial port whith an annoying builtin echo, almost like you had a serial port cable attached to the RCX. Open the port on the host system using whatever language you want and proceed to send commands to it. Of (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

  servos again

I'm still at my servo question :) the 3 servo routines so far use "normal" digital outputs. There are, according to the FAQ, 4 extra outputs I could use (SPI J6). Does this mean that I could write my own routines to drive 4 extra servos using these (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Single Bay Loco shed

Here are a few shots of a recent single bay engine shed I just finished for the show this weekend. The shots aren't too great, I'm using an older digital camera (Kodak 40). This weekend we'll have some much nicer cameras on hand for some good (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Weird Email Concerning eBay Fraud

Pretty much the same thing - my headers read the same. I remember bidding on a Melonfish auction (he had lots) if only because I felt that since he was just down the freeway from me, I wasn't that worried about fraud (must have picked up a lot of (...)   Possible math problem

Dan, Now that I have my display problem fixed, I have been playing with the site a bit. I've added a bunch of parts, and like the interface.[1] I also placed an order from myself to see how it worked. When I placed the oder, and viewed my cart, it (...)   Re: Weird Email Concerning eBay Fraud

In fact I got the message in question at 3 o'clock this afternoon. From the headers it comes from an internal eBay user, so I'd bet that it's legit. I do recall bidding on stuff one of the sellers in question had for auction, but since I never won (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Why Blue windows?

(...) I think they do it to mimick the real world to a degree. A lot of the glass made these days is tinted, and much of the time one doesn't really notice.   Update (Re: Trade Offer: Castle 2000 Shields)

Hey Y'all: I have 15 triangle shields with the orange X on a blue field with a lion's head in the center. I have 15 teardrop shields with the bull's head. These would be the two types of shields that are part of set #6094 Guarded Treasury. This is (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
