Re: Millennium Falcon with grey train roof pieces?

(...) are (...) Well it's got ME gaga. MF looks to be a good set for parts. Although as I've opined before, I feel almost all double slope parts are evil, they all should be paired 1/2 parts instead so we can use them as we will. There are a lot of (...)   Re: Quick Q : 9v Motors

From my understanding, the 8735 is a geared motor, with more torque, but less RPMs than the 8720. Quite a bit of difference between the two, I think. Sorry, but I don't know the specifics other than that. -Andy Lynch (...) between (...) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego piece with studs on top and bottom

(...) I'm in the purist camp. But if it feels good to you, do it. Don't worry about what other people think. Just take the good natured ribbing from people like me in stride. Myself, I'd give away the broken parts, not throw them away. But then I'm (...) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

More linux feedback. firmware upload doesn't work for me.

Firmware download is not working. I'm sorry but I never tried this with the first release. A second problem is that it gives no error message if the firmware download fails. I got suspicious because the download was too fast and the LCD was not (...) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

  Quick Q : 9v Motors

Is there any difference, in terms of performance and power consumption, between the 8735 and 8720 motors. Or is it the same electrics in a different case? Scott A From www.brickset.co.uk - The 8735: (URL) 8720: (URL) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego piece with studs on top and bottom

Fredrik Glöckner wrote in message ... (...) I found that a lot of my older 1x1 plate-with-light-holders broke, so that I had many of the light holders without the plate. They were great to use in MOCs to reverse stud direction, but was this an (...) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Re: Brickyard / Gene Rodriguez

Hi Everyone I to am owed approximately $150 worth of parts by Gene. His last communication with me was on 19th April 2000 in which he wrote: "A thousand apologies for the delay! It's been tax time here in the US and I've been swamped! Leaving on (...) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

New SW and Adventurers sets spotted

I was in a toy store in Melb today and spotted a couple of 7155's (That's the AAT, tan-coloured SW tank) on the shelf. Also on the shelves were a couple of the small Adventurers (Dino Island) sets, 5903 and 5904. Unfortunately I can't comment on (...) (25 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
