One problem that I can see with Chris' token ring arrangement is that all RCX's must be able to see the broadcasts of every other RCX (not likely if they are all pointed at the tower) in order to know if it can use the slot. This certainly can be (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I think this is an important subject. I am personally grappling with multiple RCXs and I'm obviuosly not alone. The vitally important thing about whatever scheme is adopted is that it needs to be really simple. This keeps the code simple and (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I just spotted some sets that I don't believe I have heard anybody else spot yet. They were of the same size as the defense archer and snow-mobile polybags, only not polybagged. No LEGO sets are sold poly-bagged in Norway, as opposed to the US. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

I wouldn't say I was "stuck" on the idea of a master PC, but after grappling with a few irrascible RCXs for a while ... I guess there's just this natural inclination to make the PC the master simply because everything else is on wheels and could (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
