  LEGO Easter Egg Hunts

Easter Egg Hunt idea: Get a 12-pack or 48-pack of plastic colored Easter Eggs and fill them will LEGO pieces. Hide 'em around the house or in the yard. For filler, use a few polybag-sized or small boxed sets and divide up the pieces so that all the (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  R: Offerte...

Anch'io vorrei 10 scatole di 3033 (la vicinanza geografica con Carlo mi contagia!). In quanto al facchino d'oltreoceano, Larry ha acquistato anche da me... Ciao Ezio Mario Ferrari <mario.ferrari@edis.it> wrote in message Ft5vHJ.As1@lugnet.com... (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

Re: The Gate of the Present Circular Loan? (Not EXACTLY a Jambalaya)

(...) This is a cool idea, and I'd love to get in on it, but x.com just isn't an option for those of us not in the US. I'd be willing to do a surety deposit some other way, and failing that, I'd still be interested in the French version. James (URL) (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: A good use for Jar Jar figs.

(...) Those are Ringwraiths. Wringwraiths are the 144 (one gross, to put it into a not-quite-acceptable Hobbit social term) guys who found the Rings of Plastic (with the compass, of course) inside marked boxes of Mordor Crunchies and became doomed (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Easy hosing with LDraw-mode

I've just added a function to LDraw-mode which makes the process of composing a bent 73590.DAT Hose Flexible 8.5L very easily. Here's what you do: Insert the end points where you want them. Here's an example: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 750 .dat 1 (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Q: A good Deal? Pitsco-Dacta Window and Door Pack

(...) Yep, 9265 is basically 5 copies of 633, the parts breakdown for 633 is on Brickshelf as the "instructions" for the set. The tidbit of 5 copies of 633 came from me, when I got a 9265, I also had received some 633 recently, and when I opened one (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: A good use for Jar Jar figs.

(...) Good ideas on the black dragon and crystal ball. The crytal ball and silver crown would definitely work well for a Battle of Pelennor Fields scenario. Another good use for the new large broad sword is as Orchrist/Glamdring. (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Check your receipt for sale prices at TRU

(...) Yea, I noticed that also. Not a good programming job, because it makes sharp customers (who haven't added it all up in their head) ask whether the sale was applied. (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Club orders... thoughts

With the number of LEGO clubs forming I believe that the target number for a min order can easily be hit. Elements could then be distributed within the group, thus insulating TLG from smaller orders. This also is, in a minor way, a forcing function (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Floppies are cool! (was: Re: Finding a useful digital camera)

(...) Ya, it ain't perfect, but it's more than adequate for my needs (basically, taking close-ups of LEGO and goofing around with the cat). One of the other main reasons we bought it (besides the floppy drive) was the 14x zoom and macro (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Warning! This post praises MegaBloks...

Dave, Ya, that's what I tried to do. I know (now) that it doesn't fit, but it _almost_ did. I didn't notice the split until after I'd done it, then I thought 'I guess I had better not do this'. My point is, I suppose, that with LEGO you wouldn't be (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
