  Forestmen and Wolfpack... thoughts

I've been thinking a bit about those Wolfpack and Forestmen (1). First of all, I think the reason they are so sought after and viewed as "cool" by many castleers (aside from being hard-to-get :) is their rag-tag and slightly disorganized (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

New German Loco: Green DB139 and more

One new model and new pictures of old models. The new model is of a German electric locomotive called a DB 139. My version attempts to approximate a likeness in its green with white stripe livery(?right word to mean color scheme?). (URL) are some (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains) !

  Re: DYA Ordering

(...) I've ordered twice now, and I can say it's reliable. Your bank may charge for the conversion of francs to dollars, but still, very good deal.   Re: Forestmen and Wolfpack... thoughts

(...) Right on, Shiri! I'd have to agree with just about everything. The one thing that's different in my world is that the WP and Forestmen Coexist, each being thieves. The Forestmen have kind of a Robin Hood-esque(?) appeal to them; the whole (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: matching motor speeds on mutli-motor trains

(...) I've noticed that the small (and stupid) engines that come with the 4559 & 4560/1 slip VERY easy. The 4565 engine is pretty good. But the all time best is my RCX Train.
