  Re: MacNQC 2.1b1

(...) Actually, the compiler itself is still the 2.x compiler (you get switch statements at 2.1, etc). However, there are a few 'deprecated' syntaxes, such as using 'inline' rather than 'void' to indicate an inline function, that generate warnings (...)   Re: Ebay acution - Potential Fraud?

  Re: Sonar

The hardware is limited to 31.5' (~ 10 meters). The limitation is on the design of the receive amplifier's gain module (and noise floor). Generally scaling this to an integer of 32767 results in a precision of just over 1 tenth of an inch (or 1/3 (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Battery life question

(...) I measured the RCX consumes about 33mA in ROM or Lego Firmware, around 26.5mA under LegOS (due to the sleep instruction in the idle task), and it will use 0.034mA when turned off. That was my point, all of those are six wide. In the first link, a bit down the page, look at the yellow truck. Go six wide, hang the cab just in front of the axle and use some inverse slopes to get the shape right. (...) Paul Foster (URL) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.build) !

Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

I don't begrudge anyone finding a good deal. But it would bother me to think that some few of us are favored by TLC because of their purchasing power.
