I'm trying to figure out what parts I need to add lights and sound to my lego buildings and cars. Hope someone can point me to the right parts to buy. 1. For lights, are these the sets that I need? 5033 - Lighting brick 5037 - Electric plates 5041 - (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Well, if you rely only on auctions for your pieces, yes. I stopped buying from auctions and just buy the sets that have the pieces I need. Oh my! That's expensive! From that standpoint, buying the tiles from auczilla doesn't look so bad. Besides, (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

 | | MTT: great parts and 7 battle droids!?!
|

Hope that I'm doing this right, it's the first time I've posted in multiple categories. ;) I was looking through my Lego 2000 booklet-thing, and took a close look at the MTT Mobile Troop Transport. This comes with 7, count 'em, 7 battle droids, and (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.starwars)

(...) If you're lucky, you might find one with the Flying Ninja's Fortress at $40. I did...got a total of 6 of them over the course of the year so far...but the big clearanced sets seem to go pretty fast. (Not surprising really.) J (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

I am trying to build a greenhouse and I want to have a mountain in the middle. I haven't figured out any good ways to make one though, so I was wondering if anyone would build one for me, please? I would request that it is about 50 studs wide (at (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) I can't do it for you; I don't have the resources nor the time. But, I can give a suggestion. BURPS. Lots and lots of BURPS. They're ugly, yes, but they'll make the mountain look good and keep it light. Plus, they stack in various patterns (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Pardon me for being stupid; I didn't look at the category before I replied. With CAD, you don't have to worry about weight. But, I still can't do it. Sorry. -Chris (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

I finally installed lego's mindstorm software on my PC. It seems that it won't let me do any programming until I finish the stupid tutorials. Is this true? I try clicking on other menu options, but only the blinking option works. Very aggravating. (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)
