Re: LEGO Aquazone Sting Ray Stormer (6198)

(...) It looks like Amazon keeps track of which toys get hit most, then up the prices accordingly (or something)... Anyhow, it's now listed at $43.99, whereas earlier it was $39.99. Maybe there's something to said for caching proxy servers after (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Minifig Armies?

(...) You can take the horse to 3 pieces. I just removed the head of the horse, put the trunk together and -I know, it's a disgrase- GLUED the upper part of the knight's body on it. (...)   Re: Minifig Armies?

(...) How did you pry the horse's body apart? I tried doing this the other day and wasn't successful, but I haven't tried since. Any special tricks? Chris P.S. Now, what to do with the horse's head? Now, if I had a Lego MafiaWorld... :) (for those (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New train

Ben, It looks nice. It looks like you are using rounded off "FreeStyle" 2x3 bricks [1] on the cab and on the tender. I have been looking for those. I have only found one FreeStyle set that has them in blue, and that $20 set only has two of them. (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Minifig Armies?

(...) With a very thin screwdriver you can separate the horse very careful. The best is to begin to lever between the horse's legs. (...) Wrap it in a letter together with some ketchup and send it to a neighbour you hate ;-) Regards, René PS: It's a (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: LEGO availability in Europe vs. US

I _think_ the cybermaster set (or add-ons) is not available in the US. It is discounted right now to ~$100. In the US, also, you do not get the 4560 - but this is no big deal as you have the 4561.   Just how sturdy are your trains?

Let me say that this is NOTmeant to be derogatory in any way. I just checked out Ben's "a Baltimore and Ohio Royal Blue 2-6-2 steam engine" (URL) it got me thinking. Ben used a stud forward building technique along the length of the engine, and I (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
