  4 Stud Big-Rig

Hi All, Here's a link to a preliminary look at my latest 4 stud wide big rig. It's a twin trailer rig used to haul stuff like concrete pipe. (URL) I did not get much in the way of exciting features into the truck, but it LOOKS cool. At least I think (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: LEGO System == World Adventures?

(...) I don't guess it's just a Euro thing, all the 'System' sets that are new for 2000 are missing the 'System' logo. I noticed this when I had my A-Wing box next to the X-Wing box back when the new sets came out. So it's gone from 'LEGOland' to (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) discounting them entirely for right now... it's a lot of data to deal with as it is, it'd be hard to deal with only MIB or MISB or such...   LEGO System == World Adventures?

I just visited lego.com and in the LEGO finder, where they used to have "System" they now have "World Adventures". The contents of World Adventures are all of the things that used to be called System. Is this something new, or is it a Euro thing? (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: 32165 Technic Throwbot Head  [DAT]

(...) Thanks for the "Wow". I spend the last sunday to modelise that part. I used solidworks, a very powerful cad-cam tool.   Re: How to get appraisals?

(...) Are you discounting the instructions and boxes (and other materials) entirely? Or are you flagging the presence/absence of these extras? I would expect that in high-price-tag cases, completeness and condition of the lot would play a large role (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Table

I followed the design from the PNLTC web site and found that with 1 sheet of plywood, 4 2”x2”x8’ and 8 1”x2”x8’ I was able to make one 60 ½ x 30 ¼ table and one 30 ¼ x 30 ¼ table for $30, plus screws and bolts with not much leftover. This includes (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

New use for part #2397 Horse Hithing

In set #6579 Ice Surfer and at least one more which I have forgotten, part #2397 "Horse Hitching" has been used for something very different.
