Re: You wouldn't want one of these landing at your Airport!

(...) Happy belated birthday! I hope many of your presents made that special rattling noise. Steve (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: What a blast!

(...) My son and I were some of the new faces, we both enjoyed meeting everyone. And there was alot of great stuff to see. I've got to remember my cash for next time so I can participate in the Pawing. I look forward to the next meeting and LMK if (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

(...) to the 1x1 cone - the interior is seriously messed up). So it would be an easy thing to maintain one common code-library, but generate a 'pure LDraw' version for distribution. Assuming that the amount of POV code added significant overhead to (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Ebay Question

I had forgotten about that one. A German collector friend of mine bought that one (it was mostly empty), and proceded to try and fill it with old windows & doors. As Mike can attest to, you can still find old LEGO in Europe. In fact there are people (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.auction)

Re: You wouldn't want one of these landing at your Airport!

I'm personally still planning on building a 747-400 to MF scale... I've figured out the dimentions (6' X 5') and while i'm not anywhere near close to starting.... i'm finding that the windows (!!) and 500 chairs will be hard to come by :) especially (...)   My Lego is being held hostage!

My Lego is being held hostage! I thought I'd share this, I'm not looking for sympathy. This is a rather bizarre story which, I'm sure, will end well. It involves 3 AFOLS: Mr A Mr B Myself I did a trade with both A & B for a large amount of Lego. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Recursive MPD files (WAS: Re: Lich (Undead Wizard))

(...) I don't think this can be fixed (although any serious syntax-check-type utility should catch it). So any program which processes LDraw files must check the reference-chain for recursive calls. I think it hasn't been an issue because most (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Containers

(...) Thin walls. Here's my solution, only problem being it requires a 1x2 orange thin wall. I don't think they exist (yet). I just built this on a 4x4 plate to try it out, hopefully you can follow along. On your black 4x4 plate at the center edge, (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: "Floating" a motor

(...) I (...) Someone mentioned using NQCXX with NQC. Robolab 2.0 has similar functions to NQCXX as a native software function in the base package. To look at memory you can use the Project/Interrogate RCX functions, and to issue immediate commands (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: User POV substitutions in L3P

Steve Bliss wrote... (...) Yes, as I wrote in cad.ray ((URL) However, I see your suggestion as a smart golden mean (...) I.e. the common code can have special mock-up section, or you can simply "uncomment" details or interior of a part. /Lars (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)
