  rubber band gun

Some time back, someone had a web site with a great rubber band gun. Does anyone know whose creation this was and if that site still exists? (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

Has anyone built a Galloping Goose train?

I was looking at my new Trains Magazine and saw a picture of a Galloping Goose and was wondering if any body built one? From Andy (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

  walmart.com weirdness

I did a search at walmart.com for "lego" and the listed items seemed to include a few that were discounted so I checked them. In the search results, as examples, Beach Buster 8252 and Speedway Transport 6432 both showed up as $9.00, but when I (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: GB#3 - Question about splitting or content - Do you need WHEELS?

My son and I liked the looks of a couple of the caster-style wheels (aircraft?) and some of the nostalgic ones like I had when I was his age... but I'm sure we can find something interesting in there when it gets here! The four-bladed props turned (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

New Pics: the Mad Mage Cornelius

(Yeah, I know what you're thinking...what the heck is Jeff thinking, crossposting to .castle and .build.mecha? It's not my fault! *He* made me do it! He threatened me with a wrench!   RCX.pm 0.7 released

I would like to announce the release of version 0.7 of RCX.pm. This perl module allows you to communicate with your RCX.   Re: Verneer Chronicles Chapter outline ...

(...) IMHO all it takes is just having your picture in gray. Ex: (URL) think that's pretty understood as "the past ... " Anyhow - I hope to pull a few tricks like that in the next few chapters ... (if you can call that a "trick";) -- pn (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Pics: the Mad Mage Cornelius

Geez ... I love it! That reminds me of : 1) The iron giant ... 2) Something that the Smurfs would make that would go out of control. Ha ha ... that is so pure and fascinating! A mad inventor ...   Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) Oops, that's what I meant. Freudian slip. (...) Ironically, Cameron vetoed many of Mead's original design concepts for _Aliens._ The original sulaco was a bulbous craft with a spiral section on the back. (...)   Re: DC motor

Its sound like your motor is drawing excessive current, thus resetting your Handy Board. You might want to beef up to a higher capacity battery or you can try running your servos off an external power source. Good Luck. (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Acronym FAQ posted!

Ever wonder what a MOC means? Wondered why SNOTs are annoying, and POOPs are hated by many AFOLs? If a BURP is more than just impoliteness? If a SPUD is more than a potato, and a KABOB more than a piece of meat? Why the annoying girls that sing "No (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.announce)

  Re: Fierce warrior names

(...) OK, cool, great, thanks! And given the meaning of Tomogui, I can't imagine that for a human warrior's name either...heh heh.   Re: Favorite Lego Train?

(...) I like the bulkhead flat better also. Or at least my modified version that is capable of holding 3 4x8 containers (or other 4x8 combinations). This is not to say that I don't have a few Larry Hoppers also. Christopher Good (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)
