  Re: Fire engine ??? - set 6358

(...) Thanks Tom. I've got one of those also in my big pile of LEGO that I'm putting together into sets. I think it will take me all year to put the pile together. I've done a ton, and it seems like I have barely touched the quantity (except for (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.general)

From: "David Chen" <nospam-dcchen@pacbe...et-nospam> (...)   Re: Why Not...?

Oddly, I was always thinking about buying parts by the pound (or kilogram or whatever). TLC could tell us the *approx* number of each part per pound, then just weigh them out. We would know that we were getting an aproximation. Sorta like buying (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Basement water alarm

Hi everyone, I made my first practical Mindstorms invention a couple of weeks ago. It's a water sensor for my basement. There's a water pump on the side of my furnace that takes condensed water and spits it out the back of my house. In very cold (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Trebuchet (was: Sneak preview Estuary Stronghold)

(...) Hm. The trebuchets in the Nova special did not have crossbars, but in any event I might be trying to do something a little too tricky for now.   Re: Why Not...?

(...) Um, I know that a lot of us here are addicted to the brick, but when Lego starts advertising the "dime bag" of 1x1 bricks, that may be too far. ;) Ben Roller (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Colors for pneumatic cylinder

(...) Thanks a lot for the above, for a minute I was quite lost, but offcourse, it can't be any other way (the structure, not me being lost:)). I would argue that a new primitive would be handy here, the "connector" for the tubes, since it is (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LNP Addressing Schemes

I have the basic Linux<->RCX Infra-red comms. working using lnp calls on the RCX and Martin Cornelius' lnpd on the Linux end. I have a few questions about this: Addressing: .   Is this enough to start a minifig box?

There is a slight flaw in my plan to start a minifig box: I forgot that I had a major purge last year and auctioned off most my spare figures :-( Anyway, I had a rummage through the spares box and came up with this lot, which is more minifig parts, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
