Re: LUGNET FAQ (Was: Customizing Subgroup (was Re: Some Lego cleaning experiments))

(...) I wouldn't mind drafting a small bit on cleaning or customizing lego. But I am not sure I see the point of doing so unless its going to be a linked page, perhaps with other FAQ subjects from the main FAQ page. Or is the idea to have people (...)   Re: Ideas for Blimps??

(...) If TLC did WWII sets they would be more useful, a forgotten fact is that Blimps were used extensively in WWII to spot submarines while travelling over convoys. Really, probably the perfect use for them at that time. By the way Eric where is (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego Technic List URL

Indeed, the file is one big simple extract from Lotus 123. I use 123 to keep track of all of the Technic/Mindstorm sets that I have (and want). I used the pause database to fill in much of the information about the sets that I don't have, but (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Informal WB Store Survey

I ordered 2 x 8735, 1 x 8445 from the UK on Jan 18. The account status showed Credit Card Hold for 10 days, then In Progress for 3 days, now finally it has just changed to Canceled. I called Customer Service and they said that they would still send (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Plz help! - type "5" line in LDraw  [DAT]

(...) It sounds like you've got the basic idea of the conditional line command. Like Jacob said, use either the points related to point 1 or point 2. In your example, write either: 5 24 0 0 1 0 1 2 -0.3827 0 0.9239 0.3827 0 0.9239 or 5 24 0 0 1 0 1 (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

re: "Cone" primitives (was "Re: Plz help! - type "5" line in LDraw")

(...) Truth be known, I didn't *know* about the existing "cone" primitives before I started messing around with making one of my own. I had looked at the hardcopy I had printed of the posted FAQ (at www.ldraw.org) on primitives and I didn't see (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Pulled off a snipe.

(...) yeah, that line in the sig block is pretty much non-applicable in the case of netnews posts. its not in there because i like the look of it. the legal folks wanted it in everyones sig block, so there it is. of course, if i posted from home, (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Harry Potter(ish) lego line possibility?

R2 wrote ... (...) My favorite author as a child, John Bellairs, remains one of my favorites to this day (maybe there are others here who like him as well?) Though I have not read any of the Harry Potter books, from what I have heard, they are (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Suggestion for MLCad Plug-Ins

(...) Cool. Uhh, what about color? Augh! I don't want to think about that right now. (...) OK, I'll work on getting this feature added to LDAO. (...)
