This is a neat idea, it will be interesting to see if it passes muster. I hope it does. eBay TOC forbids auctions that are essentially there to promote something else. I attempted to do the "black vinyl between LED and sensor" modification that Ralph Hempel documents on his site, but I was unable to get the vinyl to slide between the LED and the sensor (too tight a fit).
