Due to an overload caused by so many different AFOL’s putting it on their greasy
heads that day, the LUGNET Hat of Invisibility was malfunctioning: all
specifically LEGO-related items, including the AFOL himself, were staying
visible. Thus, Lenny, his Brickfest badge, his Bionicle sneakers, his Clikits
“Sweet Dreamy Jewels” necklace and “Trendy Totes” shoulder bag, and his shirt
with the words, “LEGO Moms Have Got It Goin’ On,” printed on the back remained
in sight, while everything else touching him had become transparent -- including
the SPAM sandwich he was so daintily holding and nibbling. Unfortunately for
the crowd (which was now slowly making its way to the other side of the room)
Lenny’s pants and tighty-whities had vanished.
CORRECTION: As it turns out, Lenny had actually taken his pants off sometime
earlier in the day, so it was just the sandwich that was invisible. (His
underwear was later discovered inside a tavern in the Castle display).
