That design is truly stellar! Where on earth did they get that
logo painted?! Perhaps this one was a custom job, or maybe a sticker
version. Where did those shirts come from, too?
Any chance Lego.com would get smart and sell merchanside like this?
You know...I think they would make quite an excellent profit off a venture
like this, and the start up capital needed wouldn't be as bad as, say,
cheesy minifigure keychains (which I despise, for that matter.)
Maybe If Lego strayed from their current gear, and went towards the
direction of posters, flags, and other items of that sort, where you could
pick out the logo you wanted, and they would print it, now that would be
tight! (and they
would probably make a nice profit, theoretically) Needless to say, they
would probably sell like hotcakes!
Personally, I would like to get a wolfpack logo on mine, or even a blacktron
insignia. Printed on a flag or poster would look awesome, especially in my
Lego Room.
Just my two brickz...

Not a chance. I think all the clothing is "designed" (branded) by
the folks at LEGO Brand Retail. They're probably limited to current
themes. The only two ways I can think of this happening are:
1. LEGO Direct produces some classic space logo merchandise (possibly
in connection with a set re-release).
2. LEGO licenses the classic space logo to a third party that produces
and sells the merchandise (with royalties going back to LEGO).

This is also a consideration:

That's sort of a combination of the two:
3. LEGO Direct produces and sells t-shirts designed by fans.
That would work too! Whichever way it works out, I hope we end up with
true "first person, I am the minifig" shirts, not shirts with cool designs
that just include pictures *of* minifigs or logos (which brand retail makes
today).
P.S. the magnetic classic space sign would be pretty cool too!
KL
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | LOL, yeah. All that would be really cool.
Did you notice the date from the original T-Shirt post?
I would love to make more shirts, but then they would just sic the lawyers
on me again. :^(

Whoa! I could easily imagine myself driving a blue Volkswagon beetle
with the Black Falcon crestr painted to the sides! Seriously,
that would be tight!
But, then again, The prosects of that happening are zero for me. :)
Alas, that's too bad, eh?
