6285 compared to 6268: the first one you own for the 'looks' (the
original owner build it in real also mostly for show-off...!), the
second one is best for playing.
My kids (6 and 9) are allowed to play with all my Lego-sets, and the
ships with easy to operate canons (shooting ofcourse, I am Dutch) are
always favorite.
While the 6268 and 6289 are having a big battle wit 'who cares' (kids
don't, Han, Luke and Chewbakka are favorite) the crew from the Black
Seas B. are eating at McDonalds (at King Kakumba's place) on one of the
skull-ilands... :-)
After the battle the BSB-nifty-beauty sails out to collect minifigs and
treasure.
BTW:
Anybody interested in extra sail-sets (originals) and a bunch of 15-20
shooting cannons?
I am looking to complete my ship-collection with the (US-only) 6250.
Ugly, but the last one I need !

| It's Jono again....I'm glad to see SOOO much feedback. anyhow, i was considering trading my (unused - opened, but unused) Mindstorms 1.5 kit for a used 6286.....i wanted to get any of your opinions on whether it is worth it. Thanks. Jono (23 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)
