Re Foosball(tm)... IIRC, There was a lot of trash talk prior to Nik's
arrival at the table but after he blew two adults off the table 3 games in a
row (with just a leeeetle help from yours truly) no one wanted to play us
any more...
Ringe drubbed some other little kids instead of daring to face us.

Speaking of drubbing little kids, Lar, next time you're in the east end of
the state you can stop by my school... I'd like to see the looks of kids
here who THINK they're good when they go up against you.

Mebbe. But personally I enjoy your wrapups immensely and wouldn't change a
thing about them as posted here. They may well benefit from a review before
being preserved for posterity, but happily, one could argue that they'd lose
their charm.
Note that being a good writer (facile with words) does not imply being a
good communicator (using them in pleasing and innoffensive ways). I know
this as I have A at all times but not always B. :-)

Amy, I find this last post insulting, and if you have serious problems with
my writing skills, I suggest you should have contacted me off-line. I would
rather have a few mistakes on various writings and summaries rather subjects
rather than have someone "proofreading" them who takes potshots and insults
other members online.
Larry has gone through most of what I had written in the past, and if he
wants to help me, he is free to do so.
If you have anything further to say on this matter, I would suggest to
e-mail me directly.
It seems rather amusing to me to see you volunteer your services on issues
regarding the website, when the lack of services caused what happened earlier.

It should be noted, that as the person responsible for the website, I did not
find Amy's previous post to be insulting (nor this one.) I am aware of my
shortcomings, and I welcome MichLUGers pointing out grammatical and spelling
errors on the site.

True, I will try to remember to double check everything to the best of my
abilities when updating the site.
