Re: June meeting pool MOCs contest ideas

(...) Any of these sounds great, but I'd probably add a rule saying that any floating MOC cannot use those boat hull pieces specifically designed for floating on water (but those minifig rowboats & canoes would be ok I think) - that'd kinda lose the (...)   Re: June meeting pool MOCs contest ideas

(...) I'm assuming that we wouldn't be allowed to use the old single piece boat hulls from the Boats subtheme of Town (as there would be no challenge to making it float). What if we make a Aquanaut MOC? Those are SUPPOSED to sink! ; ) David (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

June meeting pool MOCs contest ideas

Do water and Lego bricks mix? Maybe we should try to find out! Here are a few contest ideas. Let me know what you think, and we'll settle on one or more of them and flesh them out for the June 12 IndyLUG meeting at the pool. Floatation contest. (...)   Chicago LEGO stores

Hi all, God Himself must want us to spend more on LEGOS, because the following is just too much to be a coincidence. When I came home from the 500 Festival, there was a message on my answering machine from my brother-in-law; he wanted me to call him (...) (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Re: Anyone record Revenge of the Brick?

(...) I guess I got my times switched around. The DVD lists the genie animation as the overall winner, and I have to agree that it's a good one. David (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Re: Anyone record Revenge of the Brick?

(...) The poster I got for that at Celebrations says 7pm EST, which means it would have been on at 6pm our time, since we're not on DST (yet). But I don't see it listed in the newspaper TV guide. Love to see that DVD. I really liked that one with (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Anyone record Revenge of the Brick?

Did anyone happen to record the Revenge of the Brick LEGO thing that was on Cartoon Network tonight? I was going to watch and tape it at 8:00, but the 8:00 time that was advertised must have been for a different time zone, because there was neither (...)   Re: Joe Vig's morning stroll

(...) Actually, I called dibs on making a vignette of a humerous scene of attempted time travel from the movie Napoleon Dynamite. We watched it at Jeramy's house after the meeting was over. Jeramy bought the movie, so we can play that scene for (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.org.us.indylug)
