Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show —Kevin Maynes
(...) :) Thankyou! :) (...) Um... Ok, I won't. ;) A sketch of what it would've looked like if I'd gotten around to applying (purists beware) the decals (gasp!) can be found here - (URL) not entirely complete, detail-wise, and the lettering should (...)      I think I missed this one (Big Red) some how. What are the handrails made from? SteveB PNLTC (...) slight (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show —Kevin Maynes

Sorry - Big Red 8 doesn't really count, since it's in a different class. If my layout is (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

The Chessie engine and caboose were built by Steve Barile, really great models. Michel (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show —Michel Magnan
Kevin, With the decals that model really rocks, we would have won first place if the decals had been on the model at the show! (...) I intend to rebuild the bridge, how much clearance, widthwise does big red need? The first layout I have been (...) Did I here someone say "Technic beams"? :-] There are numerous ways to get the necessary clearance, and Technic beams would certainly do it. Also, the second bridge could (...)         Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show —Steve Chapple
(...) Well considering that train bridges are currently the prime focus of StRuCtures, it's a natural for NALug to showcase them. The simple monorail one at the show last week was a basic concept test - larger and more elaborate ones are on the way. (...)
