I even think I caught a glimpse of R2D2 one time :)

I don't know about any sharks on it, but the mother ship model not only has an
R2D2 on it (painted flat dark dark gray), but it has a VW Van and a ton of
random airplane and car parts from a whole bunch of different models.  Up
close it is very cool to look at everything painted in a very low contrast
color and try to figure out what the various elements were originally designed
to model.

Spielberg donated the main mother-ship model to the Smithsonian National Air
and Space Museum a couple of years ago.  NASM now displays it, but not in the
main building on the mall, it houses the model at the Paul E. Garber facility
out in Greenbelt, MD. (Sort of the overflow/warehouse/restoration facility for
NASM, at least until the Dulles Airport facility is ready.)

(For one last little bit of worthless trivia on the topic, the model has a ton
of wires hanging out of it that lead to all of the various lights in the
model, but when the disconnected from the controller, all of the wires were
wholesale chopped, so it may never work as designed again....  Tours of the
Garber facility are available by appointment most weekends of the year, and
one or two days each summer they hold an open house.)
