Re: Two new LEGO pages —Tobias Möller
Great movies! I´ve only downloaded one when I´m writing this, but I´ll watch the others as well. One of my dreams too has to be able to make stop-motion films of lego-models. Especially with my classic space minifigs, my moon landscape and my (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Two new LEGO pages —Thomas Foote
(...) Tell me about it... :} The big problem with getting a slower walk is that minifigs have a very limited range of motion. It's hard to get a smooth leg motion up and over then next LEGO stud in front of them, and getting them in a transitional (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Two new LEGO pages —Richard Franks
(...) It definately gets my vote - I love these movies, and they way the minifigs walk! Do you think it would be worthwhile having a LEGO movie competition (stop-motion, ray-traced/CAD, etc) at some point in the future to encourage other people to (...)      (...) Competition? Gee,that sounds so... competitive. :) Actually I think it would be a good idea, but mostly I would love to see some sort of a LEGO film festival. It would be great to see what other people can come up with. I think the best way to (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

LEGO Film Festival (Was: Re: Two new LEGO pages) —Richard Franks
(...) Yeah, that sounds like a better idea :) What do people think? And when would be a good time - during the summer? Richard (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO Film Festival (Was: Re: Two new LEGO pages) —Nicholas Allan
We need to have it at the same time as a 'real-life' film festival that has a name which can be 'punned' with a Lego term. Many thanks, Nick Allan ======== Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change. Richard Franks (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Two new LEGO pages —David Eaton
(...) Assuming a minifig is about 6 feet tall, and that your average stud is 8mm across, about 7mm=1 foot.... So it makes 54,000 studs/hour about 11.7 miles per hour in minifig scale... I think that represents a running speed for most people? Not (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
