    Lego/playmobile ramble —Rachel Kingston
   Hi all, At the risk of being jumped on simultaneously, by thousands of AFOL's (or having thousands of Timmy's thrown at me) I just finished having a look at the playmobil site, and came away with much food for thought. I had a collection of almost 2000 pieces but only four minifigs, which even included to the collection while I lost my interest at role playing, and started building models displaying (...) FYI, in case it has not been mentioned in awhile, the Playmobil boat motor fits very nicely in the stern of the LEGO floating boats. ;-) Also, if you have a friendly neighborhood toyshop, they might order a "replacement" (...)       (...) TLC seem to have theme-concurrency mania. IE. They'd never release the types of stand-alone figures that Playmobil do, because they wouldn't 'fit' into any particular theme.        (...) That's funny. Playmobil is carried everywhere here (Miami). There is a a Playmobil department at my local TRU across from LEGOs.    Besides the great line of Playmobil 'accessory packs', there's one other thing we wish LEGO would do similarly: To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Playmobil just released a rerun of their classic Playmobil truck from 1975 !
