The problem with LOTR and Braveheart is how grotesquely violent they were. I mean, would you want your 1- yr old kid buying toys meant for a R-rated movie? Basing it off a book is that it only appeals to fans of the book, which is not a large group (i’ve never read the Pern books, for example).

TLC is geared to making sets for the younger ages and through them, sell their products for profit. I say ok. But then give us the avenue to buy minifigs and elements in bulk.

Think of it, TLC, if we could buy a bag of 50 torsos in the color we need. Sticker sheets with Black Falcon, Lion, Crusadr, forestmen, Western Cavalry torsos printed on them to build our own needs for minifigs.

Bulk horses, cows, steers and Bufalo for the Western theme. Bulk arms, legs, hips. Bulk swords, muskests, rifles, yes and even pitchforks. Blank shields in the different shapes. [...] we could use farm animals [snip]

Give us small cottages, more Minifigs, sets like they used to make such as the Armory, the joust, knight’s procession.

YES!
Don, you nailed it here! I emphatically support this idea TLC. Listen to this man! I just would like to add that some variant heads would not hurt.

Hey, how about a MOC “Little Armory” Armory??? How bout it, eh?

(...) The problem LOTR, Braveheart and other films is that they are not suitable for Lego, and I don't mean the Lego Company, I'm talking about us. TLC can make Orcs, Cavalry (Riders of Rohan) troops (Gondor, Irish, Scots, English men-at-arms), etc. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
