Hi everybody,

After this one and this one, I’m (still) proud to announce a new window :

At this moment, I’m sure that SNOT specialists will count : “One... two... three... but ! it’s not possible to fill a 3 wide hole with plates in SNOT.” That’s right, but I don’t use plates here. The brick here is the 3185 Fence 1x4x2.

We used yet this part to make stained windows, but this part has the very interressant property that its thickness is 1/3 of brick. This part allows a 1/3 offset.

A MLCad view of the building technique :

Complet gallery after moderation :

Tim, Larry, I will make an article on Brickwiki about offset :)

(...) Hi Eric, Beautiful window design (and your previous ones too). It is always good to see a new technique and especially (for me anyway) one that does not require many specialised parts. Now you have me thinking what sort of model could be built (...) (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Holy patootie thats awesome!! Bravo!! I'll be printing this out and using it in my next castle moc FOR SURE!! -Lenny (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Hehe, that's right. A little "vignette touch" to give life to the MOC, and the 3 to stress the width of the window. (...) Erik (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
