For this length, I think it might look better with 1x10 plate for the top beam, and dropping the 1x4 plates on the bottom completely, leaving the bridge deck to form the bottom beam. - But then I wouldn't be able to reuse the design for a (...) Taj Mahal. This is the 4th time I've built this amazing landmark; each at a different scale. This one is by far the smallest with the central structure having a width of only 16 studs.
