The specific vehicle I had in mind is 8428/8432 in which the cabin is not quite tall enough for adult Belville figures (I don't think Technic figures work too (...) They are nicely and more realistically proportioned than minifigs (I bet they are in scale with a lot of Miniland structures) and I think the ball socket head is nice. (...)
