In the year 2002, Lego will offer custom order sets. In theory, this would allow one to recreate, say, BT1. Or, redo Lego sets that are considered to need work. I, for one look forward to it. (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

I've been watching, but haven't seen talk of the little LOM sets. hope I'm not being an echo. Two are recently available at our TRU in a "special value" trio including 7311. I don't think that these things are great value, in terms of brick count, but I'm delighted that they are being produced. While I love Technic, trains, etc..., with their special pieces, I like the back-to-basic-bricks approach for the sculptures. I (...)
