  'Stubbies' (C) Richard Noeckel!

(...) You sooooo can NOT! I claim infringement of my term… >:-\ I used it first, I put brackets around it… It’s rightfully mine!?! That goes for TLG too! (They can’t use the term with out first consulting me.) Hello, I did initiate the whole (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) New piece spotting. Check out the eleven-a-side soccer field (3425): (URL) like a rather cool new "sliding" field piece. And if you've already got a field, I think there's a couple in 3421. --DaveL (who will be buying multiples of 7139, Tiny (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) Stubbies is my guess (can I coin that phrase now, for everyone to use for the rest of time?) [1] This would make sense for the future Yoda figure too. And HP house-elves. And children. And...well, you see the possibilities can go on and on... (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: Best new part EVER

(...) I think they are just flexible plastic inserts, connected to the model using the four "SW guns" elements. Fredrik (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) First i'd like to thank Tim, Second, WHAT IS UP WITH THE MINI_MINIFIG LEGS?!? Do the Ewoks and Gobblins have half-legs? The heads and tourso/body sections seam normal... But the LEGS, i don't get the legs? Hopefully the high-rez pictures will (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: New Racers

(...) Some of both, it looks like. The orange formula 1 racer seems to have a full minifig, as would the canopied 4X4 I'd imagine...the rest seem to have minifig heads and helmets on a blob body, similar to the current racers. Matt (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: Best new part EVER

(...) Didn't you see the shadow profiles for the Quest? They're here... Matt (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  New Racers

Are the new racers just minifig heads with some new one piece body? Visu (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: Best new part EVER

(...) Yeah, they're all over the place, and on the Racer sets too. The canopy appears to have open sides -- which is not the most sensible approach to underwater vehicles. (...) That's the business they are in -- making these plastic elements. The (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: Best new part EVER

(...) They're also in red on the nose of the twin cloud car. See (URL) also visible in the first Alpha Team page, where the curve is more visible. From the pics they appear to have a 2x6 footprint. The curve mates with the new canopy peice that (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Best new part EVER

Look at this: (URL) See the grey pieces on top of 4795 (and on the back of the yellow sub, that stretches across the page seam)? Those look an awful lot like half-versions of the maligned Droid Fighter Wing piece--in short, corner bits! I'm stoked. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) Those new Ogel sub arms appear in spades in the new Alpha Team stuff--and that IS indeed a new canopy type. Very cool. The QUEST seems also to use those new POOP-arms. best LFB (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) To be honest, I don't think disapointment would correctly sum up my feelings. Instead, the phrase "Complete and utter hopelessness" springs to mind. Followups to Town. -- Erin (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.town)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

One word. Ugh. That has to be the worst group of SW sets ever. I love my SW sets. I love my AAT and MTT. I just don't like any of these sets. They come across as minifig packs or very angular. I see the Ewok sets as the cheap way to get ST's but you (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(Reply to the thread in general: thank Tim at FBTB.net, they're not my scans. I'm just the messenger.) (...) The scene in question takes place in a washroom-- so yes, sink or toilet is it. The large character is a troll (shown briefly in some (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002)
