  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) Not true. Check out the pictures of Slave 1 from the 2000 catalog: (URL) in the cockpit, Boba on the ground... Besides, with earlier information indicating 3 minifigs, why not assume that the person in the cockpit is the emperor, thus avoiding (...)   Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) fig (...) isn't {Boba Fett minifig standing in front of the Slave I model with Boba Fett in the Cockpit}, rather, it's {Boba Fett Minifig close up} overlayed on {Slave I with Boba Fett in the cockpit}. In other words, the larger Boba Fett (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

It wouldn't make sense to me. The royal guards aren't going to fly the ship. They just stand around and look intimidating. Besides, the emperor's so powerful he could probably fly the ship without touching the controls! Dave Lorbaat (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

I'm positive that the Imperial Shuttle includes a fourth mini-fig to pilot. First, it couldn't be Palpatine; he is wearing the black hood piece. If you look closely at the picture, it's clear that the sides of the figs head arn't covered with (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) True, it was an overlay. It was the best I could do at work, however. IIRC there are other pictures from the Star Wars series as well... As for the different "collage" styles... Sure, the Boba picture is a more clear example of two combined (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

Not only they showed him twice in the catalogue, even the box is actually wrong! (It shows nearly the same as the catalogue: two Bobas) TLC also does this a lot for the Belville and Scala line. They put a large picture of the actual set in the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) Yep, you're right about the cockpit fig not wearing a hood. In fact, if you look closely you can see that it is a classic smiley face (Palpatine's eyes are larger and his mouth is straight). Ken (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) Of course, last year they couldn't even decide how to spell Boba Fett. Don't forget the "Includes Bobafet!" from this catalog (URL) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) It looks to me like a kepi on his head. That would make 'Imperial Officer' the obvious suggestion. best LFB (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

"Josh Opotzner" <Josh120@aol.com> wrote in message news:G31vIw.A7v@lugnet.com... <snip> (...) I tried that as soon as the pics showed up, but most of the S@H reps haven't even seen what the sets look like yet, the prices are still not finalized (...)   Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) Because the figure in the cockpit has a regular smiley, not the Emperor's head... it's visible enough to at least make that out. However, it's possible that the fig was simply in there when the shot was taken and they just figured that the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)
