  Greetings/Current Count of Soldiers

Hello Everyone. Well this list has been kinda dead for a while now, but hopeflly maybe it can get some new life like last spring. I am finally back to reading Lugnet on a regular basis after some time in the woods of Northern NY. Happy to be back at (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Cows

(...) Yep. Lego could have made another animal like cattle that could be just as flexible to fit in other themes just like horses. Instead lego choose to make a polar bear for artic and a rock monster for rock raiders. Ok so you can use the rock (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Cows

(...) I agree. No medieval countryside or village looks right without livestock either. Rapin' and pillagin' are fine, but stealing cattle is what it's all about. JSA -- Green Bay Lacrosse-- Play hard; play often. (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Cows

(...) They look better next to brick horses! (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Cows

(...) I still think lego dropped the ball by not making minifig cows or steer for Wild West sets. They could even be mixed in to town theme for farms or ranches of the modern age. Building cattle with bricks is fine but it just looks strange next to (...) (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Cows

(...) Very good, thanks. But I think that bull is a steer. JSA -- Green Bay Lacrosse-- Play hard; play often. (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

  Cows

I suppose this has already come up, but does any have any plans or suggestions for making LEGO cows in minifig scale? JSA -- Green Bay Lacrosse-- Play hard; play often. (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

Re: Does anyone know how to make Bayonets?

(...) Check out this post from Jon. (URL) have been trying to come up with something myself. Let me know what you come up with. David (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

Re: Does anyone know how to make Bayonets?

(...) Hmm.... I know SOMEBODY had posted about this before. They came up with an ingenious method, using *gasp* modified lego. Try searching through historical posts. I'm pretty sure I grabbed the link and bookmarked it, but I can't find it now..... (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

Does anyone know how to make Bayonets?

I'm doing a Civil War scene but I've run across and interesting dilema. Most Civil War charges were accomplished with bayonets fixed to the rifles, however, the task of fitting any sort of blade to the lego rifles is a little involved. Does anyone (...)   Re: Gulch Gazette

(...) Rene, I think the designs are great. Love the stagecoaches and the train station the best. David (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Gulch Gazette

(...) René - Thanks for sharing the picture-show with us. I had seen some of those pictures before but not in that format. The show manages to catch all the classic scenes of an Old West town. My favorite details include the Medicine Show wagon, the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Aug-01, to lugnet.western)
