(...) Yes, contest means you're up against the other layouts to win the crowd pleaser award (which is easy for us) or one of the others (much harder). NCLUG is planning on participating in a GATS show here in Raleigh next summer. I received the information packet in the mail yesterday and I have a couple of questions for those of you who have done this before. Can someone articulate what "Contest (...) I may well be a unique voice within PNLTC but one never knows..... Actually, PNLTC is nearly 30 members now and thus many opinions are represented. We concur on many issues. Btw, I view it as currently convenient to model 6- wides (maybe it's the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains.org)
