We just wrapped up a real fun show at the Dawsonville Outlet store, it was a real nice layed back show. The group at the store are a blast to work with and were very generous to the entire club. It gets better...look at the bottom of the sign..the Lego logo and the NGLTC logo are side by side...and that (printed) sign came from Lego! I guess it was ok with them since they made the sign, all I did was send them a copy of the NGLTC logo. They've been very helpful in facilitating our display at their store (even offering to provide breakfast and lunch for the club) jt (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

This Saturday (May 25th) the NGLTC is presenting a display in front of the Dawsonville, Georgia LEGO Outlet store. This is a one day display and free to the public. Nothing too earth-shattering here, but I did have some fun with the use of different textures (with some creative assistance from my son Ross). Check out the facade across the top-- all minifig legs:-) The uh, rear is even better-- looks like a moon (...) Nelug has it's own Spamcake that was built as part of a block of stores. You can see it here. (URL) pictures were taken before John sent me the doggie for the roof. (...) The LIC Orlando has a small (NEW?) Duplo boxed set in stock that contains 'the dog'. I believe the set number is 14xx and has the dog, a Duplo fig, and one or two other parts.
