  Compressionism (D&RGW coach set)

(...) Hi Steve, I just agree the positive feedback posted in this thread. These coaches look great and, more important than anything else, you seems having fun to build them. (I particularly like the color scheme (aka livery) :-)) One point I am (...) (20 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

To All, Interesting discussion. Anyhow, (...) Just to clarify on a few things - this is Stefan Garcia's creation, and IIRC, he was trying to get a DTI engine with all of his available orange, and this was the result. Stefan has done some remarkable (...) (20 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Duplo Trains

This popped up this morning on Brickset - 3772 Duplo Deluxe Train Set, 2005 (URL) a neat looking set - blue engine, freight car, platform, cranes, etc. I have to say, the Duplo train line looks great this year. Freight, Thomas, etc. What is in store (...) (20 years ago, 18-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

I LOVE constructive criticism!!!!! I really appreciate the time and effort that it takes! This is my first time using stickers rather than water slide decals and I kind of don't like them! So you obviously picked up on that vibe. I have some (...) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: D&RGW coach set

This era coach can go both ways actually, diesel or steam. As Larry sugeested the element selection in medium orange is very limited, the F7s would be hard to model in real Brick, even though I love them. So I have been planning on a black steamer. (...) My ever expanding train collection forced me to reorganize some tubs of trains, and I came across of some I never got around to take pictures of.   New MOC: Prototype Class 14 Diesel Loco with BBB Wheels

Here's a new train MOC, a prototype Class 14 diesel loco. (URL) It uses BBB wheels and is articulated to get round the curves. It uses 2 technic gearmotors for power, so it has an electric feed from an adjacent vehicle with a train motor (not yet (...) Great to hear about the successful test. The dynamic nature of trains is often overlooked. Ocationally there are great looking MOCs posted but don't always run well in the real world; backwards thru points and the like. Your close coupling design (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)
