Gianluca,
Wow, that's a nice crane!  Have we all gone 'crane happy' as of late?
I count at least three of us working on them recently. :)
I see a bunch of knobs on the backside of yours, do these control
movement?

I've been working on a model of a Brownhoist for a few weeks(maybe
months) now.  I'm redoing the base and trucks right now but here are a
few pics of the 'in progress' model(updated from my last post).

Hey Larry, I tried a solution to the boom problem you mentioned when i
last posted in progress pics.  I decided to go with using a *lot* of 1xn
plates and a few plate hinges.  I think I was able to approximate the
odd shape that makes up the boom by going from 4 studs to three
studs(see the top view).  I'm not happy with the very end of the boom
from the side view, but I am working on it.

Anybody have any further suggestions before I finish the base and
trucks?
